Ch\u00e8res lectrices, chers lecteurs,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Je suis tr\u00e8s heureuse de vous annoncer la publication d\u2019un ouvrage auquel j\u2019ai l\u2019honneur de participer : The Penguin Book of the International Short Story<\/em><\/strong>, une anthologie qui r\u00e9unit des \u00e9crivains venus du monde entier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans ce recueil, vous d\u00e9couvrirez ma nouvelle \u00ab La vache du roi Musinga \u00bb<\/strong> (Cattle Praise Song<\/em> en version anglaise). Ce texte me tient particuli\u00e8rement \u00e0 c\u0153ur. Il prolonge ce travail de m\u00e9moire et de transmission qui traverse mon \u00e9criture depuis mes premiers livres : raconter, \u00e0 travers des r\u00e9cits , la richesse des traditions rwandaises et les histoires qui m\u2019habitent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C\u2019est une grande \u00e9motion pour moi de voir cette nouvelle dialoguer avec celles d\u2019auteurs que j\u2019admire profond\u00e9ment, comme Haruki Murakami, Han Kang, Salman Rushdie, Olga Tokarczuk<\/strong> ou encore Ted Chiang<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette anthologie, dirig\u00e9e par Rabih Alameddine<\/strong> et John Freeman<\/strong>, est pour moi une belle illustration de ce que la litt\u00e9rature peut accomplir : faire se rencontrer des voix, des langues, des imaginaires, au-del\u00e0 des fronti\u00e8res.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c0 travers \u00ab La vache du roi Musinga \u00bb, j\u2019ai voulu partager avec vous une part de cet h\u00e9ritage rwandais o\u00f9 la vache n\u2019est pas seulement un animal, mais un symbole de vie, de lien et de dignit\u00e9. J\u2019esp\u00e8re que cette histoire trouvera en vous un \u00e9cho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enfin, je profite de cette parution pour vous annoncer que le recueil dont est issue \u00ab La vache du roi Musinga \u00bb<\/strong> para\u00eetra aux \u00c9tats-Unis en 2026 sous le titre Murmurs from the Hills<\/em>, publi\u00e9 par Archipelago Books.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
