Join the Transnational Literature Series at Brookline Booksmith for an in-store event with Scholastique Mukasonga and translator Mark Polizzotti to celebrate the release of Kibogo. 
Longlisted for 2022 National Book Award, it’s a masterwork of satire, lore, and living memory from the leading voice of French-Rwandan literature. The conversation will take place on September 29th, at 7pm ET. You can register here.

About Me

Scholastique Mukasonga is a Rwandan author living in France. She was born in Gikongoro Province in 1956. Mukasonga left Rwanda before the Rwandan genocide, which killed 37 members of her family, her mother being one of them.
